Another thing, is it possible my keyboard is turning off in response to the mouse disconnecting?Ĥ50 w PSU (Don't know the brand since it was a prebuilt, but it came from cyberpower. This happens once a day or so, but the mouse disconnects are like 3 times a day. It lasted about 3-4ish seconds before turning back on. So I thought it was the mouse problem again until I was playing warzone and they both literally shut off, the mouse was fully off and the keyboard was off but the G logo still had light. This time I noticed the mouse disconnects more then the keyboard does and it doesn't shutoff when it happens, it lasts for like 1 second then reconnects. I know the glorious model O is known for it's issues and disconnecting as this is the 2nd mouse that I bought since the first one had the disconnecting problem. I have the glorious model o and a logitech keyboard I forgot the name of but I'm almost 100% sure it's this one: If you're just Joe Gamer like me, then it's probably fine to use whatever keyboard you want.So my mouse and keyboard disconnect once or twice a day or even sometimes every other day, this problem recently started happening. Ty lovely MMOchamp community in advance <3Here's my 2c: if you're into competitive gaming, if you are getting sponsored, if you have a monetized youtube/twitch channel that depends on gaming, don't use a logitech keyboard with macro functions. Ty lovely MMOchamp community in advance <3 All I want is a genuine answer because I really don't want to risk getting my 7 year old WoW account banned for such a small thing. I've tried asking this on the WoW forums and been met with nothing but trolls. But if I am wrong and you know the answer please let me know.Īlso don't throw hate at me for not knowing or accuse me of being a bot or a cheater or whatever. Ultimately I can't see why it wouldn't be allowed seeing as people used to leave NPCscan and WoW running all night to track rares and ignore log-out timers by flying in circles and into walls and stuff and no one ever got a ban for that (that I know of). I'm pretty sure it can't be used to AFK either as it should log out for inactivity as there's no movement. I know of people using these kind of things to sit AFK in Warspear and spam guild advertise/selling macros, and it cannot be used unless you are actually tabbed into the game, otherwise you end up sending people on Facebook messages that consist of random numbers. They said that they couldn't be allowed to do what cannot be done in the game client, so I don't exactly know what that means and I'm not sure if that applies to me since what I want to do involves a simple /tar *if he's there play a sound* macro that I got off the mob's page. Blizzard posted that the macros on keyboards are fine to use but they didn't clarify the programmable macros. I haven't been able to find a direct answer on this. I miss old NPCscan (If anyone knows of another addon to track old world rares please let me know I hate this hover-over-with-mouse crap) It's pretty much just doing what NPCscan can't do with old world mobs now. I will also be at my computer, I just want to have it pressing the macro so I can work on Uni work/draw. At the moment I want to use it to press a button on my action bar at an interval (toggle it on when it's being used, toggle it off when it's not) that has a macro for targeting a mob and playing a sound if the mob is up (since NPCscan doesn't work anymore). By default, you can also tell the script. Read the lines after the double forward slashes '//' for more info. At the top of the script are your options for where and how often the bot should click. It's not like I am botting or using it to path around and farm mobs or herbs (I don't even think it can be used for that unless you are really good at this kind of thing or have a LOT of time). Simple script that allows you to auto-click a spot on OSRS with random time intervals to minimize detection. What I want to know is if this is actually against the ToS. I stopped using it however as I knew the ToS had something in it about bots or key pressing but I never fully understood if this Logitech program was against ToS since it's pretty much set up FOR games, especially MMOs. It also has the capability to program what they deem as 'Macros' where you can input a series of keys or a key and a time interval and whether that sequence is used when the key is pressed or if it is toggled on and off.īack in MoP I used it to press a button on my action bar that had a macro that would /cast Milling /use Herb at an internal so I wouldn't have to press the milling button then press the herb in my bag. For those that don't it's pretty much a program that comes along side the keyboard that allows you to adjust things like the colours and so forth. If anyone owns a Logitech gaming keyboard they would know what I mean.
